France Laberge

Graduating from Laval University in 1986, France Laberge carries over 20 years experience in the field of orthopedic private practice.
Over the years she has acquired expertise in manual therapy, myofasical release techniques with FJ Barnes in the United States, and Acupuncture with the APCL.
In her practice she has developed special interst in active rehab care, pain management, sports injury (prevention and re-training), functional evaluation and work conditioning programs.
In the past, France has been an active member of the treating crew for the professional Toronto Lynx soccer players, has followed the Milton Junior A Hockey team and many Milton High School sports events.
Aside from her clinical practice, France has performed IME and belonged to the North York Sports Injury and rehab centre BAC group.
In 1998 she opened her first clinic, Parkway Physio in the Stoney Creek area and has, since 2003, established a second practice in Milton, at Altima Physio.
In physiotherapy, her goal continues to be helping you manage your pain symptoms, restore your motion and improve your strength and general level of funtion in consideration of your needs, limitations, goals and lifestyle.

Certified Athletic Therapist

Jason graduated from Sheridan Institute of Technology in 2002 for the Sports Injury Management program. As a Certified Athletic Therapist (c) and a member of the Athletic Therapist Association he has been part of the Altima Physio team since 2003.
An Athletic Therapist is a healthcare professional that performs assessments and personalized rehabilitation programs for individuals who have suffered acute or chronic injuries. Jason specializes in treating motor vehicle accident, WSIB, athletic, and chronic on going injuries. In addition, his expertise extends to sport specific training, testing and treating.
Jason completed his kinesiology honors degree from the University of Ottawa in 1999 with a specialization in exercise physiology, prescription, and rehabilitation. During his time at school he worked closely with the varsity hockey, football, and soccer programs as a student therapist.
His passion for education has lead Jason to teach at ICT Kikkawa Massage Therapy School. During his stay there he helped the students of today become the professionals of tomorrow by teaching anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Also he continues his professional development by taking continuing education courses such as muscle energy techniques, myofascial release techniques and functional ability training.
Furthermore Jason is active in the community Minor Oaks Hockey Association as a Head Coach. Jason has been coaching for a local minor hockey since 2002.
Recent team experiences encompass the following teams: Oakville Crusaders Rugby Club, Humber College and University of Ottawa Hockey, Men's National Olympic and University basketball and professional lacrosse training camps.

Gyongyi Kis is the owner operator of a small business which concentrates on holistic medicine and patient care. She creates implements and supervises the treatment plan of massage therapy. She also took primary responsibilities for patient care when she was a physiotherapist in Hungary.
Gyongyi Kis is currently working at Parkway Physiotherapy in Hamilton.
Pam Shabaga, Certified Pedorthist, Physiotherapist

Pam Shabaga graduated with distinction in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has worked as a physiotherapist in the fields of respiratory, orthopedics, rheumatology and in a hospital burn unit. She has also had experience working in a neurological rehabilitation ward, as well as doing home care physiotherapy. Pam has continuously taken post-graduate courses to stay current and expand her knowledge to include many specialties within the rehabilitation field.
In 2001, Pam entered the field of pedorthotics upon moving to Ontario, and began to do work for Milton Physiotherapy and River Ridge Physiotherapy patients. Pam uses a precise 3-dimensional digital cast to fabricate all of her custom-made orthotics. Working now as a Certified Pedorthist and a member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada, her experience in physiotherapy gives her tremendous insight into patient's conditions and proves valuable in understanding their orthotic needs.

Jennifer Dunsford, RMT

Jennifer Dunsford has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2000 and has worked closely with many health care professionals to assist patients in finding the treatment that will be most effective in their healing process.
Jennifer has worked with Physio and Athletic Therapists, Chiropractors, Naturopathic Doctors and Acupuncturists. Jennifer uses Swedish massage techniques and has extensive experience in treating:
- Stress and tension- related symptoms
- Pregnancy- related discomfort
- Sports injuries
- Work- related injuries
- Motor Vehicle Accident recovery
- Other health concerns
Jennifer trained at Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington and is a triathlete, outdoor enthusiast, an avid dancer, and a certified dance teacher in her spare time. She also recently completed a bachelors degree in Religious Studies and Counseling. Jennifer is committed to providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable therapeutic experience. She will be pleased to assist you in enhancing your level of holistic health and wellness.

Lauren Klimpke

Lauren specializes in manual therapy and exercise prescription.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Athletic Therapy) from Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning with honors. She has her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa.
She has completed continuing education courses in manual therapy for the mid-cervical spine, and shoulder girdle assessment and treatment. She also is certified in CPR, First Aid, and First Responder. She is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and the Ontario Athletic Therapist Association.
She has worked with a variety of competitive sport teams including wrestling, football, hockey, basketball and cross-country.
She has a special interest in sport specific fitness training for youth and adults and currently instructs advanced fitness courses and dry-land hockey training in the community.
She has competed in competitive cross-country races, track and field events, and sprint triathlons. She enjoys functional weight training and running. Lauren continues to promote a healthy lifestyle through exercise and healthy diet.
Lauren has been part of the Altima Physio team in Milton since 2009.

Megan Dodge, B.Kin, BESS-AT, CAT(C)
Certified Athletic Therapist

Megan Graduated from Acadia University in 2002 with a degree in Kinesiology, and followed up with a degree in 2005 from the University of Manitoba in Exercise and Sports Sciences- Athletic Therapy stream.
Megan Certified as an Athletic Therapist in 2005, and joined the Altima Physio Team in Milton in 2008.
Megan worked with the Acadia Axemen, the U of M Bison and the Mount Allison Mounties Varsity Football teams. She also worked with the North Winnipeg Midget Nomads, and is Head Athletic Therapist with the Steel City Steelers football Club. Megan also enjoys competing in Synchronized Figure Skating and Track and Field.
Megan is fluent in sign language and is looking to expand her services to the deaf and hard of hearing community in Milton and surrounding areas.
